Traditional inspections of power lines and other infrastructure often require the use of helicopters, which emit significant amounts of carbon dioxide. In contrast, our drones are powered by electricity, resulting in zero direct emissions during operation.
By replacing helicopter-based inspections with our drone-based solutions, we can significantly reduce carbon emissions. In fact, drone-based inspections can reduce emissions by approximately 10 tons of CO2 per 1,000 km per year. Given the average helicopter emissions of 11.7 kg of CO2 per km, this is a substantial reduction and demonstrates the potential of autonomous drone technology as a green alternative for the energy sector.
