Following our official launch in the UK in 2024 and the opening of a local office under the management of Rob Heaver, Regional Manager, we are excited to announce the addition of three new colleagues to Airpelago UK.

This expansion is a response to the growing demand for our drone inspection solution. To better support our customers, we are pleased to welcome:

Connor Mullen, Chief Pilot - In his role, Connor will oversee and train new pilots, manage equipment maintenance, ensure accurate data capture, and support seamless inspection operations.

“I’m excited for the first UK framework we’ve landed which is down the west coast of the UK, covering all of the Lake District which is a beautiful area to start!” said Connor.

Kim Harland, Operations Manager - Kim will handle the daily coordination of UK employees and operations, ensuring efficient and effective project operations while adhering to company policies.

“I am very excited to share my enthusiasm for streamlining processes and improving efficiency and enhancing productivity. It's a great opportunity for me to lead and develop a brand new team for the UK, a team that will deliver beyond expectations. “ she added.

Josh Shenstone, Project Coordinator - Josh will manage field teams and general operational administration to ensure effective operations in the UK.

“I'm most excited to utilise skills I have already gained in past work experience whilst also learning and growing with Airpelago. I feel already extremely welcomed and am looking forward to growing the UK projects alongside a qualified and supportive network.” he said.

Last October, Airpelago hosted an exclusive demo event in the UK, in partnership with SP Energy Networks. Here’s what Adele Ramsden, Lead Engineer Transmission Operations Overhead at Scottish Power said about the benefits and potential of our drones:

“The UK and Ireland represent a key market for Airpelago, with grid owners increasingly seeking more efficient and sustainable inspection solutions. We are excited to be at the forefront of this transformation and are committed to supporting TSOs and DSOs with the resources they need to optimize grid inspections and maintenance.” added Rob Heaver, Regional Manager UK & Ireland at Airpelago
